Prepared to a once-lost recipe dating back three centuries, award-winning Aberwen cheese has made a welcome return. The dairy at the Bodnant Welsh Food centre uses milk from a local herd to make this deliciously crumbly, nutty cheese. Sometimes the old ones really are the best.
